We have it! THE EXPO SCAVENGER HUNT - A NEW GAME THAT IS DESIGNED TO BRING POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS TO YOUR BOOTH; REPLACING THE MUSICAL SPOT GAME OF THE PAST.

Here is how it works:
All attendees will receive a clue card with a list of twenty clues each given by a participating exhibitor along with the vendors name and booth number. Each exhibitor will write up their own clue for inclusion on the clue card. This will give you the opportunity to feature a new product, publication or seminar.

The clue cards and the rules of the game will be included in goody bags that are handed out to each registered attendee. Each person who buys a pass to the trade show will also receive a clue card.

The attendee will come to your booth looking for the mystery item. This offers you the perfect opportunity to talk to them about your business and products; and "help" them to find the mystery item.

When the player learns the answer to the clue, their card will be punched. When all the solutions to the clues are revealed, the player will go to the new products display area to turn in the clue card and become eligible to win one of the prizes.

The prizes will be a variety of products, donated by each of the exhibitors, grouped together into attractive packages to allow for multiple drawings each day of the conference.

All participating exhibitors will receive a punch, used to validate the clue card; a sign for your booth promoting your business as participating in the Scavenger hunt.

The Scavenger hunt will be advertised in The Decorative Painter; in email correspondence to SDP members and chapters and in the program booklet.

How you can enter the game:
Write up a clue to something that is displayed in your booth. This should be something that is easy to identify to keep it fun and not frustrating for the player. The clue must be short, 10 words or less.

Provide a donation of a product, gift certificate or like item to be included in the grouping of prizes to be awarded each day.

Deliver your donation to the New Products Display area on the first day of set up

Agree to talk to the players and help them find your mystery item. Punch their cards.
